Methadone, long term, also effects teeth. It's better than any street drug though.

Took me 8 months to detox off of methadone. It worked for me. But I became time to get off. I did.

Methadone is no joke to get off of. For me personally, I'd only get on methadone if I meant to stay on it. I didn't sleep for over a month when I got the financial detox years ago. I ended up going back on opioids again. Carefull, be your own advocate, like you seem to be doing by asking questions. Taking Methadone or suboxone is better than any street drug or opioid. I question many suggestions from clinics, even doctors. Believe this, it's about the money more than your recovery.

Hey I was on both , honestly methadone is just as shitty to try and get off of. Its body aches and restless muscles getting off of it . Id completely recommend since you have to wait 3 days at least since taking suboxone not to go on methadone. Its a long term medication again that they want to keep giving you. Red Bali Kratom tea is great relief for withdraw if you wanna get through it but don't use it for more than the 5 days your going through it. Hope this helps. (Oh and methadone 100% also messed up your teeth and gets in your bones. They say it doesn't but I promise you it does.
