First, it takes real courage to reach out like this — and the fact that you're thinking about your baby shows how much you care. You're not alone in this.

There are rehab programs specifically designed for parents with young children, often called "family-centered" or "mother-baby" treatment programs. These allow you to keep your baby with you during treatment.

Here are some ways to find one near you:

- SAMHSA's helpline: Call (Phone number can only be seen by the question and answer creators) (free, confidential, 24/7) — they can help locate family-friendly programs in your area
- Search online for "residential treatment programs for mothers and babies" or "family-centered OUD treatment" in your state
- Ask your OB or doctor — they can often refer you to specialized programs

Many of these programs offer full support including:

- Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) like methadone or buprenorphine
- Counseling and therapy
- Parenting support
- Childcare on-site Getting treatment is truly the best thing for both you and your baby. Continuing MAT during this time is considered the safest and most effective approach, and it can actually help your baby too.

You've got this. 💙
